Eye Diseases

Many things we can not imagine if we can not see. Many people have no luck because they can not see the world and there are many babies born blind. We must take care of our eyes because no technology can replace the two eyeballs. The eye health is a thing we must pay attention to because many eye diseases that can happen anytime and even can eliminate the senses of vision. Some of the diseases present in the eye are as follows:

1. Cataracts
Cataract is a disease that causes the lens of the eye becomes cloudy and causes reduced vision or blindness. This disease can interfere with various activities because the eyes can not see well and worse at night. Cataracts often develop over time and can occur in childhood.

2. Optical neuritis
Optical neuritis is a disease caused by inflammation of the optic nerve in the form of a collection of nerves that function to connect information from the eye to the brain. The disease is initially often characterized by pain in the eyes and vision experiencing temporary disturbance. The disease is also associated with other diseases that are multiple sclerosis.

3. Glaucoma
Glaucoma is a condition of eye disease that causes the eye can not see in a certain period of time. This disease can be caused by certain eye disease conditions that attack the optic nerve part of the eye. Too high pressure in the eye can cause this disease to appear. There are two types of glaucoma: open-angle glucoma and closed-angle glucoma.

4. Retinal detachment
Retinal detachment is a condition that causes an important layer of tissue in the retina to decrease so that its position is more downward or pulling inward which causes disruption to blood vessels in this area. This condition will cause the retina to be deprived of oxygen so that it can cause blindness.

5. Drowsiness
The most popular eye disease among other types of eye diseases, nearsightedness in the technological advancement can not be avoided and tend to attack starting from children.

A. Farsighted
Farsighted is a type of disorder that causes the sufferer can not see the object too close. Usually, people with short-sightedness is a person with age above 40 years.
B. Nearsighted
Nearsighted is a type of eye disorder that causes the sufferer can not see objects that are too far away. Usually, farsightedness can be affected in children.
