I joined the club in 2000. From 2005-2007, I was the Club President. For the past 2 years, I also wrote the
newsletter.
I still have my first 'real' detector - a Garrett GTI 2500 which has paid for itself twice just in the pocket change I've
found with it. I have an Ace 250 which pretty much goes with me everywhere - for those unforeseen metal detecting
opportunities. My most used detector right now is my White's Matrix M6. Great machine! (Imagine a DFX with only 3
settings!!!) I'm still learning the Minelab Explorer.
My other interests are shooting, hunting, fishing, vegetable gardening, internet research and playing the harmonica.
