Choosing the Laundry Powder for the Safety Matter and Reason

Detergents are one component that must be present when we wash clothes. Detergents are used to help cleanse and are made from a mixture of various kinds of chemicals. Compared to soap, detergent has the advantage of having better washing power. When reading the h2o at home product reviews regarding the site you visit, you will know that such h2o product gives you the laundry powder which then helps you avoid the use of harmful detergents.

Currently, there are many types of detergents on the market. Starting from those that can whiten to soften clothing. However, we must also be careful in choosing detergent to be used, because if we are wrong in choosing detergent it will endanger our health and the environment around us. The following are safety tips for choosing detergent.

1. Environmentally friendly
Environmentally friendly detergents are biodegradable, which can decompose naturally. The test method is to mix detergent with water and mix well and pour it into the soil and plants, whether the plants can live in the following days. If it is still alive, it indicates that detergent is safe to use.

2. Not hot in the hand
Detergents that cause heat when held in the hand indicate detergent is not safe for fabric fibers. This happens because of the reaction of soda (Sodium hydroxide) to fat under the skin layer. This material is used because of its low price. The material is corrosive and if many levels can cause irritation to the skin. The test method is to dissolve the detergent into the water and then soak some iron and leave it for a few days and see the results. Does the metal rust or not. If it is rusty, a detergent is not safe.

3. Not much foam
The myth that has existed among housewives is that washing is getting better with the amount of foam in the laundry. This is not entirely true because the foam arises because of the foam material (Carboxymethyl Cellulose) a type of chemical that only produces foam and other reactions do not exist. Because of the large amount of foam, we will be more comfortable brushing clothes and finally the dirt in the clothes is lost because we brush, not because of the detergent itself. Of course, this takes a lot of energy.
